Lessons To Be Learned From Jumpers

I receive daily positive messages of wisdom from Melissa Pearce of "Touched By A Horse".  Today's message was:

"Jumpers!

"Watching them in the arena taking each leap of faith is inspiring, isn’t it, Brigita? Each brave calculated step is exactly what they need to take in order to get in line with each goal. Using constant motion to keep in front of difficult situations throughout the course and forgetting about any setback as soon as it passes. Gosh. . . seems there is a lot we can all learn from Jumpers!"

This can be applied to everyone in our daily lives.

All of us set goals (or at least we should) both short term and long term.  Planned steps need to be taken in order to accomplish those goals.

In order to stay ahead of the challenging situations, we must continue moving forward on the path towards achieving the goals.  Forget any setbacks that may occur, learning from them, but not dwelling on them.  Continue moving forward without looking back.  What happened in the past is done cannot be changed.

A good lesson to learn from jumpers.

Keep moving forward!

Good morning Brigita. What is done is done and cannot be changed. If you do not learn from it, you just made another mistake. Enjoy your day.

Hi Brigita! This brings a whole new meaning to 'planned steps,' doesn't it? I hadn't really thought of that but, gosh, putting one foot in front of the other when building a business is very much like jumpers. I love the analogy!

I have seen jumpers in the arenas and they are very agile and can jump great distances.  Where the parallel comes in is in the preparedness we have for our work and our ability to meet what ever challenge we face while doing our job ad to make it look effortless.

Hi, Ed!

It takes a lot of work to prepare for the challenges that we, and the horses, will face moving forward, making it look effortless.
