Active Rain Zoom Meeting April 27 , 2021

Today we had a great Zoom meeting with the blogging members of Active Rain and the Staff. It was a special meeting Ben Kenny the owner was there to let us know what was being planned and to listen to our feedback. There was also a special guest Bob Stewart (hope I spelled it right ) who we adore.

 

 

He taught many of us so much about blogging. We will forever remember the classes he and Ben taught about the longtail blog they will never know just how much they influenced our lives.

 

We really owe them so much those two young guys who walked into that room that day so many years ago were so smart we adore them both.

 

Back to the Zoom Meeting, the team listened to our feedback and issues. Things have been moving along and improving at a steady pace. It does help when we tell the team our issues as they are not users of the site but developers. All in all, it was a great day and so good to see so many Active Rain Bloggers in attendance today. 

 

I searched in my archived YouTube  videos for one on what to blog other than Market Reports

Hi Hannah:

 

It was fun meeting with Bob Stewart there and a bit of sharing about the history, in addition to learning more about what's been accomplished and what lies ahead. It made me think back to all the Raincamps I attended, the many Meet-ups, and the 1-Year B-day party in Los Angeles...such a blast with about 75 people there. There are so many fond memories...and the spirit of AR lives on!!

Rome was not built in a day.  The platform is looking better and ARM is listening to our concerns and working on repairing the issues we have. I can even post on my old computer which I could not for over 7 months .Things are improving

Well said! It was a heartfelt meeting full of great memories and as you said the spirit of Active Rain lives on!. Sometimes we need to be reminded of just how much LOVE is here in the Rain. It spread all Across the United States from the West Coast to The East Coast

I believe they are working on all these repairs. It is not as easy as it sounds as they may try to fix one then screw up a few others.   The man behind the curtain is working on a thin rail.  The other issue was that they are not users so when we explain exactly what the problem is as Craig did it easier for them to fix it .

What a great meeting and it was fun to go down memory lane with this video.  I started in 2011, but never attended any of the Rain Camps.  It is amazing that when you put your mind to it you can create something that will stand the test of time.

Have to love all the members of Active Rain we are an amazing group of people. We teach each other so much about Real Estate, SEO, and just about everything. Rain Camps were amazing but our Zoom meetings are our modern-day versions.

They are great people miss them all too!  They really had great tips on what to say and not to say.  Many people are forgetting to comment and just hitting the like button instead of making a comment. We need more conversations Brad does pop by every now and then. Miss him too --- Loved seeing BOB what a treat.

They were my Rain camp buddies Cindy and Pat we always had so much fun Shelton too he was a Gas  ..maybe they wii return
