A friend recently asked me to pick up some ant killer to tackle a line of ants marching into his apartment. Though there are a number of natural sprays available, I instead suggested spreading paprika on the spot where the little pests were finding their way in.
Along with paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon are spices which ants won't cross if spread in their way. Be careful, though, because colorful spices can stain surfaces when wet.
