Real Estate is a Catch 22.
Many sellers are ready to sell, but there is a shortage of homes on the market that listing a house, to some, doesn't make sense!
Their thinking...if I list my house, and it sells, where do I go? If I buy a house and have a home to sell, I will lose the new one.
And it is effortless to get caught up in this situation.
Numerous sellers are ready to sell.
But they need a new home to buy.
Or they need to decide where they will move. This decision is one that I hear every day.
How do we handle this dilemma, keep the stress level down, and still make the homeownership dream a reality?
First, we need to stay on an even keel.
Yesterday, I met my special friend and client who purchased their home with me over 25 years ago. They are ready to move! We went to look at a house that I was sure was not the right one.
But I wanted the chance to have a conversation about how we have to continue to look for the perfect new home.
It does not make sense to compromise and settle with a decision of this magnitude.
Their requirements are pretty simple.
North West Baltimore County, a single-family home, with few or no steps. The main bedroom suite on the first level, along with laundry, garage, and good storage, would be ideal. Our price range is up to $350,000.
Being a very desirable and popular request. I know we are probably not going to find it on the MLS because a home with this criteria, in good condition, will be gone licky split!
So I will continue to use my radio show and my print media and talk to as many folks as possible to find this home for my dear friends.
If you know of a home that would meet their specifications, please reach out.
Here are a few more homes that I need for other buyers.
