Rare time to garden - The master garderners plant sale

Yesterday I decided to go to the master gardeners plant sale. It is a lot of fun with a lot of plants at nice prices and lots of advice to be had. I arrived just before 9 and raced in with the rest of the people. Each area had experts to tell you how to do things. The first thing that caught my eye was some huge dahlia bulbs for $2.50 each. They had some iris tubers but I passed. Then they had huge canna lily bulbs. I bought 2 of them. They were some big that I broke it in 2 when I planted them. Then I went to the herbs and bought some basil. I was hoping for parsley that did not over winter this year but they did not have it. Then I found the perennials. I bought a fairy rose (it is supposed to be pink), 2 raspberry starts, a shasta daisy and a perennial alyssum. I bought one tomato for fun. I have everything but the 2 dahlias and one of the lilies in the ground. My life is going to be beautiful!
During this time I had one real estate call. We then had a terrible storm and a power outage for 10 hours. A huge tree blew over on the next street taking the power pole, several trees, a car and the power line.

Hello Debbie - it seems you had quite the day yesterday - a little(actually not-so-little) bit of everything.  Very similar to a typical day in real estate.  Or just another day in real life.
