Chesterbrook, PA

Real Estate Agent with Long & Foster Real Estate Inc 610-225-7400 PA License - AB067198

I have been selling real estate since 2004 and lived in this area since 1990. I always knew Chesterbrook was a popular place to live, but it was not till last year that I fully appreciated some of those reasons.

Valley Creek

When the pandemic hit our area, we were all told to stay at home, not to travel anywhere. I have always been a walker, more so the last few years and this being stuck indoors was very hard.

Blue Heron

I moved to Chesterbrook in 2019, living on Valley

Stream Lane and from there had discovered a path along Valley Creek that took me underneath the Pennsylvania Turnpike right into the heart of Valley Forge Park. This allowed me to walk, to see nature and feel normal and get some much needed exercise too.  I took many photos of the park during this past year, of a beaver which surprised me, of blue herons fishing along the creek, I missed a photo of a mink that was just too quick for me, and of course all the flora that one sees when walking.

Storm damage

We had some storms that resulted in lots of damage to trees on the sides of Mount Misery and Mount Joy, which the forest will repair in good time.

My favourite spot

This is one of my favourite spots, whilst there has been some tree damage, there is an opening which allows you to see down the valley between Mounts Misery and Joy. Always a wonderful view, whatever the weather.

The dam

There are many momonets where the light falls between the tree leaves, illuminating the ground or the water and it just sparkles and it makes life worth living to have seen that and enjoyed it.

But it is not all nature that makes Chesterbrook a great place to live, the variety of the homes, from 1 and 2 bed apartments, to larger townhomes, some only a few years old, like Parkview, compared to the older Chesterbrook stock of housing as well as single family homes in Greenhills.

Several hotels are nearby, with an Embassy Suites by Hilton right in Chesterbrook.

Having a large township Park, Wilson Farm Park in the developlment with concerts, and shops close by for all that you need make it a great place to live as recognized by Niche which rated it the best place to live in America with it's award winning Tredyffrin Easttown School District and great roads and transport systems all close by.

Concert in Wilson Farm park

This may be why BNP a French bank has just moved their US Headquarters to the Chesterbrook business center.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP those trails kept me fit and mentally healthy last year, I loved being that close to nature.

Kathy Streib technically at one stage the park was closed, but the rangers left you alone if you were just walking.

Jeff Dowler, CRS it is a beautiful area with much to offer buyers in the area.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel I was lucky, the apartment I rented faced well away from the turnpike and felt very private. The sun shone on the patio in the evenings, it was wonderful.

What a stoke of luck finding that lovely park to ramble around during the shut down. Definetly a sanity saver on many levels.  So many beautiful photos Nick!  I feel like I've enjoyed a cool and brisk walk through the woods. Chesterbrook is wonderful community and buyers and sellers will be in good hands with you helping them out.  Nice entry!

Good morning, Nick... what a great description of Chesterbrook. I can see why you love living there. It's really so important to love where you live... I learned that lesson many years ago when I lived somewhere I did not love--Abu Dhabi. I always said those were 22 long months that felt like 22 long years.
