Pictured above is a sculpture of a fish fountain in marble at the Bargello Museum. We liked its whimsy and design.
It is the least visited museum in Florence, and least known by the tourists. Although we had been to Florence many times, 2019 was the first year we visited this museum.
We had learned that among its treasures was a Michelangelo statue of Bacchus, the god of wine and winemaking. My picture did not turn out as well as this one from Wikipedia, which is in the public domain.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Thursday!
