Neighborhood Video Template - On-Camera Version
Finally! This week, things fell into place and we were able to shoot a rough draft of our on-camera neighborhood video introduction. Keep in mind, due to the age of our youngest mascot, Forrest, we will likely be updating that portion of our introduction as needed.
Lighting is always tricky. It's ever-changing from day to day and minute to minute. Bernie opted to shoot with the sun behind me. Unfortunately, it caused a bit of a lens flare. Plus, since the sunlight was filtering through large fir trees branches, it ebbs and flows. We're debating what to do. Some people like lens flare and actually add the effect post production.
We could reshoot it on another day, however, we want to get the ball rolling - it's May. As long we don't cause any visual or auditory upsets, it should be fine. Speaking of auditory upsets, do you hear the little bird chirping? That's natural, not added sound effects. The little guy just wouldn't pipe down. Let us know if you find the lens flare or the bird distracting. Although, it is all about "Nature as neighbors!"
