In our Sunday mastermind, our friend mentioned that in his coaching of one of his business clients, his advice was simple, do what would feel good to her.
She was knee deep in a lawsuit, the trial was coming up. This was causing her usual good natured self deep angst and unhappiness.
After some deliberation on her part, she realized that she was under the influence of society, instead of her own true self, and her way of dealing with problems.
She fired her attorney, and ended the law suit in one fell swoop, even though she had a winnable case. For her, this was the path that felt best and resolved her angst and problems.
Feeling good about who you are is staying true to who you are! There is nothing to defend and nothing to change for the sake of looking good to someone else! If you make a change, it comes from your inner self and not from an outside influence.
