Your front door should make a statement that fits your personal style and the exterior of your house.  The door should be attractive and inviting to guest.  Choosing the front door, you have several options to choose from, such as: look, design, doors are available in wood, metal or fiberglass with wood and fiberglass being the most popular.  Following are the most popular styles on the market:

Traditional – These doors are available in wood, metal or fiberglass and may feature various number of raised panels.  Also, these doors may feature glass inserts with scrollwork or colored panels.  There are custom options available for a particular design look or a home that does not have standard size door openings.

Craftsman - These doors are popular in many homes that include cottages and mountain retreats.  Doors are made from wood or fiberglass and feature straight lines with a window at the top with stained glass, black or wood-outlined panes, and may include 2 or 3 rectangular panels on lower part of the door.  Another option these doors may come with is a large glass insert which offers great view of the outdoors.

Modern – These doors have straight, sleek lines, and may have blocked or square raised panels, panels with frosted or translucent glass.  Hardware used on these doors tends to follow the styles of clean lines.  

Rustic – This type of door is typically on homes and cabins that feature wood, stone, or brick exteriors.  Rustic-type doors are mostly made of wood and may be arched or shaped in rectangular form.  Usually, they have thickness, demeanor of hardiness, may be bulky, and have oversized hardware on the door.  In addition, many times these doors have raised panels, scored lines with clear glass.  

Arched – These types of doors have a distinctive look and appeal.  Usually, these doors are special order and custom-made to fit the exact specifications of the house.  The curved style tends to be eye-catching and have charm.
