A phone call to set up an appointment for a showing on one of my listings led to a conversation that the seller was a tiny bit uncomfortable...they are changing their minds about selling right now.
The house sits on over seven acres; the family loves it, especially their pre-teen daughter. When we were getting close to an offer, they realized this was NOT the right decision for their family, at least not the entire family. Remember, the best time to sell is when the house and all the owners are ready to move.
So I will be releasing the listing because the sellers still love this property. It took going through the winter and the Covid lockdown to appreciate what they have.
And they love the acreage, the pond, the five bedrooms, the three-car garage, the chickens, geese, wildlife, and the perfect setup for homeschooling. These are things they are not ready to give it up.
This home will be released from the MLS for the family to continue to love the property for a few more years.
So happy they decided BEFORE we went under contract.
Just a reminder to let the seller know what happens when we release a listing from the MLS.
