The best advice for those looking for a home to buy is to make sure they are working with an agent who knows where the houses are. Just recently, a colleague called about one of my off-market properties. She has an interested buyer who is not in a hurry and could wait for the right timing. So happy she called me, and we discussed getting the potential buyer and sellers together. Lots of transactions are happening right now, and many buyers never see these homes hit the market.
There are quite a few homes that are ready to go on the market.
Numerous owners are ready to sell right now. But…until they find the right place to move…it’s not happening so fast.
I am working with about a dozen different families in this position. They are ready to move IF, which is a big IF they find the right home.
Some want to stay right in the Baltimore area. Some are thinking about keeping their present home and renting it

But we are at a bit of a standstill. These owners can afford to sell and can afford to move, but they have limited choices.
