Hello Thomas, I can think of what I gave up.  I can honor the fallen people all day today and tomorrow!

I certainly appreciate all our military and especially honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. My Dad (and many uncles) were WWII veterans. Fortunately, they did come home alive.

Hi Thomas,  I try to weigh the benefits of what I am doing - to what I am giving up.  It's an eye opener -  you don't always realize what you are giving up until you stop and think about it.  Honoring and remembering our fallen heroes.

Hi Thomas- what a thought-provoking quote. And to your point...yes this Memorial Day, let's not forget those who gave up a lot for their country. 

I am fond of the wisdom provided by the Dalai Lama!  He ranks as #1 for being the person I would wish to spend an afternoon sitting in a lawn chair next to.  

Hmm, that one is thought-provoking, I don't often like to sacrifice in order to achieve success, haha.
