There is some newer building, but it is largely concentrated in the Douglas Glen neighborhood, which was established after Douglasdale. The most costly properties are those around the community's riverfront areas, with prices ranging from $500,000 to $900,000. Important Considerations

With all of the new construction south of here in recent years, getting out of the neighborhood and onto Deerfoot Trail can take a little longer. Other than Deerfoot, there aren't many other ways out of Douglasdale. Having said that, the neighboring region, such as Quarry Park, has plenty of office and commercial space. Many businesses that were previously located in the city's core have relocated to this neighborhood, resulting in shorter commutes for residents.
