1 Corinthians 4:12-13
“We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted; we endure it; when we are slandered we answer kindly.”
As you start to operate more automatically in this elevated way of living life with FAITH AND EXPECTANCY not everyone will agree with it. There are people that are very legalistic about their religion for example. When met with resistance or even harsh feedback do what this verse says and bless them and answer kindly.
This verse was talking to early christians and their struggles when they were faced with resistance. Even now people will test us and the best thing we can do is meet people with grace, compassion, non judgement. Ultimately it’s best to say something kind back or say nothing but a silent blessing and release them so they are free to be them and you can move forward not being hindered by someone else’s resistance. If you experience this you can say to yourself:
I BLESS YOU AND RELEASE YOU TO YOUR HIGHEST GOOD. YOU ARE FREE TO BE YOU AND I AM FREE TO BE ME! LIFE IS A WONDERFUL JOURNEY!
