Wordless Wednesday - Cooling Off Mid-Ride On A Hot Summer Day

Pennsylvania has been experiencing its first heat wave with humidity.  The best time to ride at this point is early in the morning.  Of course, the day tends to heat up quickly.  

Here in Eastern Pennsylvania, we like to do trail rides.  One of the favorite places to ride is Jacobsburg State Park outside of Nazareth, PA.  It has beautiful trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding to enjoy nature.  It also has the Bushkill Creek running through it.  The trails have bridges that go over the creek.  A couple of trails have you go through the creek.

These riders are enjoying a break, with their horses being able to get a cool drink from the creek before heading back on the trail.
