Community and Real Estate Information

Rockridge is a large suburb of Oakland, California, located to the north of the city. The area is located 15 minutes north of the city's central core, north of the St. Mary Cemetery. Upper Rockridge, South Rockridge, West Rockridge, North Rockridge, Rockridge Terrace, and Rockridge Boulevard are among the subdivisions that make up the Rockridge district. The neighborhood is primarily residential, with premium neighborhoods and well-developed commercial districts. There are several restaurants, shops, and grocery shops in the suburbs, providing families with a variety of locations to visit near to home. The Rockridge Shopping Center and the main thoroughfares of College Avenue and Pleasant Valley Avenue are the focal points for these businesses. Residents also have access to good educational opportunities, which is ideal for families wishing to buy a home to raise their children in. The Claremont Country Club, located south of the neighborhood and offers a demanding 18-hole championship course and world-class club amenities, is a golfer's dream.

The Rockridge district's real estate consists mostly of suburban single-family houses of various sizes and styles. The region was developed in the 1910s, 1930s, and 1990s, respectively. The area's architecture is highly diversified, with many custom houses, classic bungalow-style residences, and post-modern styles popular in the 1930s. The neighborhood's prices start at roughly $1.5 million and go up to roughly $2.5 million. Some of the more costly custom homes have price tags in the millions of dollars.

Business Opportunities

Because of Rockridge's higher elevation, many of the residences in the region have spectacular views of Oakland's cityscape. There are several community-developed parks and green areas that provide inhabitants with outdoor leisure opportunities. There is an active Community Charter in the region involved in many parts of the community, including politics, education, development, and more.
