Lillian Marie Bounds was born in Spalding, Idaho back in 1899. She attended Lapwai High School. After graduation she attended a year of business college before moving to southern California in 1923 to live with her sister Hazel’s family. She worked at the Disney Studio in the “ink and paint” department as a secretary.
It was there where she met and married her husband. Because of her father being deceased her uncle who was the chief of the Lewiston Fire Department, gave the bride away. The couple had two daughters, Diane Marie and Sharon Mae. It is her who named someone you may have heard of Mickey Mouse.
Surely, if you haven’t figured it out by now her husband was Walt Disney. She died in 1997, she was 98.
