College Acres is a very popular community and neighborhood in Woodland Hills California. 

College Acres sits just north of Ventura Freeway surrounding W. Oxnard St. and a total of about 8 to 9 square blocks. It offers easy access to the San Fernando Valley area, Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills and Pierce College located just north of the neighborhood.

Most of the neighbors in College Acres have a tight-knit sense of community. Many of the homes have actually passed through the generations rather than being bought and sold. Unique architecture, funky homes, smaller ranches, and a few traditional designs are prevalent throughout College Acres. You’ll find some Southwest hacienda-style homes, rambler or ranch-style properties, elegant Tudors, and a few California traditional.

The biggest feature of College Acres is Candy Cane Lane. It's the host of the annual holiday light display in the entire area. A couple of streets are dedicated to the display and each homeowner tries to outdo themselves each year. IT's become a huge deal in the area, so if you plan on living on Oxnard or Lubao Street, be prepared to deck out your home around Christmas time.
