Summer is officially here, and most of us are mingling with family and friends a lot more than before.
But when it comes to getting social, sometimes it can be hard to "get back out there" and let our guard down. I have a solution for you!
Today we have four types of questions that will get ANYONE out of their shell. They'll help you get to know others in a new way, connect at a deeper level with those close to you, and say goodbye to social anxiety.
Now, let's get to them!
1. Try the "how well do you know me" game
This game is a favorite in our house, and it's pretty simple. Quiz your family and friends and see how well they really know you. You might be surprised!

Example: "What's my favorite time of day?"
2. Get Out the Ice Breaker Questions
Icebreaker questions are perfect for any situation in which you're meeting someone new. Plus these help you branch out and open up about all sorts of interesting topics.
Example: "Which topping is the best to put on pizza?"
3. Would You Rather Questions
The would you rather game can't be beat! Simply pick two funny or outrageous choices together and see which one others would choose. You can find out a lot about a person depending on their answers here!
Example: "Would you rather ride a hot air balloon or go scuba diving?"
4. Never Have I Ever Questions
Finally, what have the people in your group done?!
This one is great for finding out the not so apparent aspects of a person. When we play in our family, I learn all sorts of deep or quirky things about family members I didn't know before.
Example: "Never have I ever swallowed a piece of gum."
Here's to new connections and fun! I hope you use these questions this summer to dig a little deeper with your loved ones. If you put down your devices and truly bond, you'll be amazed by the good feelings and unforgettable memories you create along the way.
Which are your favorite types of questions? Have you ever found out some interesting information about a loved one after doing a game like this? I'd love to know!
