What Kind Of Games, Did You Play, As A Child?

Home Inspector with WWW.ExecutiveRestoration.Com

What kind of games, did you play as a child?

Some of the games that I remember are:,

Rook. Life. Red Rover, Red Rover.  Capture The Flag. Sorry.  Hide and go seek.  Pin Ball, bowling, match box cars.  Building model air planes.

Father May I, Mother May I, Kick the can.

I miss the games that I played as a child.  It seems like just yesterday.  Who can relate?  Life has gone by so quickly. Life has been so real and full of adventure.  As I age, I find myself wanting to go back to play some of the games that I grew up with.  Life is short. Life passes us by so remember to enjoy life and live life to its fullest.  Do not worry about so many things in life.  Things have a way of working out.  Things have a way of working out.

As I reflect back on the games that I played as a child, I remember what life is all about.  Life is about having fun and learning these games and learning how to get along with others in the games that I played as a child.  I am constantly listening to my client and trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together on why I am in homes and buildings to put pieces of the puzzle together on how to help and assist each client.  Getting along with others is crucial in life and in business.  Even when we have misunderstandings, learn to work things out. Learn to give and listen to the needs of others.  I want to be on site and on inspections and a helping hand.  Getting along with others as a child has taught me and helped me get along with others as an adult.

What do you miss or what did you miss about your child hood?  I miss my mom and dad and the closeness, we had as a family but the older I get it seems like the more distant the family has become.  Kind of sad but a reality to see so many families become so distant.  For example, eating supper as a family and talking over the daily activities as a child is very much missed.  My parents were missionaries to South Korea, Indonesia and Guam and I have 5 brothers so we always had fun even though we did not have a great deal growing up as children.

What do you miss growing up as a child and what impact has it had on you as an adult? It has helped me understand that life is short and life is what I make it or do not make it.  I have created and operate a small business out of Mint Hill/Charlotte North Carolina who offers a servants heart to assist others in there search for a home or in a home where the home has issues and the home owner needs to know what is going on and the truth of the home with inspections.

My name is David Snell and I own a small company that offers personalized service.  I am not a franchise but I do offer 30 years in the restoration business and I am able to detect and make problems go away with my service.  I can help folks all over the United States by consulting with others about issues in there home.  If you only need guidance and you are in another state, I can serve you as well.

In the last few years I have found my two favorite pinball machines from the late 1970's on Facebook market place. Best buys I have made in years and they help get your mind  off the daily grind and take me back in time.

Hello David - if I look back into my memory bank, I can recall games of my past.  Indoors as well as outside.  At home and elsewhere.  They are definitely part of childhood development and the activity never needs to end.

Life in the 1950's when I was growing up was so much simpler and more innocent. Games included: hopscotch, rope jumping, roller skating on the sidewalks of New York City, stoop ball.

Nina, Michael and Bill and Buzz.

We lived in simpler times.  It seems like the older we get the more responsability we have and the more problems and challenges we face.  Wink.

Hi David- A lot of my childhood play time was outside... we played red rover and hide and seek,  and all kinds of fun games. I think what I miss most about my childhood was how simple life was. Love your post.

Kathy, life was much easier back in the sixties or seventies or even eighties.

Hi David,  we grew up on a farm and spent a lot of time outside and making up many games on our own.  We did play outdoor games like hide and seek, tag (many different variations) and red light, green light as well.

Growing up as a Missionary Kid, we did not have much and as Bob stated, we also had to be very creative with the games we came up with and played but they were some good times and I miss those days.
