Second Banana. . .

A Second Banana

On The First. . .

Recently, Nina Hollander, Broker included a quote from Banana Yoshimoto in a post.  Although it is her pen name, Mahoka Yoshimoto is the second Banana that I have "come across" with the exception of some late-night sidekicks over the years. But, I digress. . .

ActiveRainLand’s own Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, CRB, Phoenix Broker, immediately comes to mind for me as well as many other members on this platform.  But am I being too narrow by not being open to other possibilities? Banana-wise, I mean. Could I make a split from Ms Banana for something and someone previously unknown-to-me?

As we see on an everyday basis, brighter and potentially shinier objects are constantly thrown our way. They tempt but can they win in their appeal(or is that a peel?)??

When I went for a search of additional banana bonanzas, I found banana puns. There was a list but it turned out to be quite limited. I quickly realized I need look no further. While I now know a second banana can be found, I think I am gonna stay happily a part of that original bunch.

In the meantime, here is a quote from Ms Yoshimoto.  It's thoughtful and insightful. If Ms Kruchten cares to add any words of wisdom of her own, those are gladly accepted and appreciated as well.  You, too Gary AKA Gary 'Banana' Houghtaling.   Let's see who can produce first?

Truly happy memories always live on, shining.

Over time, one by one, they come back to life.

Banana Yoshimoto

Happy July 1.

Michael, love bananas in the morning too.    They are really good with strawberries on french toast!

That's a slippery slope to have banana puns, but they can be very a pealing.  Well, I better split.

Alright.....finally had a moment to weigh in on this very important subject and conversation!  In my world I've been the top banana all my life and it's been a  fun journey. A quote I have long appreciated and one I take to heart is "Life is supposed to be fun" - Esther Hicks.  I resonated with this quote -  the first time I heard it many years ago.

Enjoy every moment....life is precious.  The older I grow the deeper I see the widom of having fun and enjoying it all.

Top Banana signing out.  As for The Gary Banana....he's out golfing (having fun too)!!

Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, CRB, Phoenix Broker - thank you for the efforts you put forth whenever we you visit AR and the quote you share is ideal.  It fits you and your philosophy so well.

As far as Gary 'Banana' Houghtaling is he slicing up on the green as we comment?  Are his ears burning?  Ummm...fried bananas...it's not lunch time yet, is it?

LOL no don't think his ears were burning.  He was playing with Carol Williams and we all enjoyed lunch after they were done!  It was a great lunch bunch!!  Onto a girls happy hour later tonight with 2 ladies in town Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! and Miss Carol along with fellow locals Jan Green and Nancy Laswick !  Always a lot of laughs with these gals!   PS Gary will be not joining us but rather going to a movie F9 with a buddy!

Morning Michael.

My wife loves bananas, she has two everyday.  While she doesn't split them they are a peeling to her.

Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, CRB, Phoenix Broker - I appreciate the additional update and the report "a good time was had by all".  Isn't that the outcome we enjoy whatever the occasion?

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - ah, yes Banana Republic - another reference I could have included.  I guess there was a "Gap" in my memory -  the retail reference must have slipped my mind.  🙃

Michael, I guess I am late to the party, but let's be clear it is after dinner so I could have a Banana split as as our friend Grant Schneider  suggested... my mother loved Banana Splits:) now as to our Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, CRB, Phoenix Broker  there are no other Banana's in my book... outside of Mr Banana aka Gary 'Banana' Houghtaling

Endre Barath, Jr. - if memory serves me correctly, the "appeal" of a banana split had less to do with the actual primary fruit ingredient but the other assorted toppings that accompanied it.  Of course, it's been some time since I have enjoyed one so I could be wrong as difficult as I often believe that to be.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - and on Independence Day, we shouldn't omit Old Navy when discussing Gap-related retail adventures.  It's all in the family - at least until any possible corporate splits take place, that is.

I must confess to no longer eating bananas. For some reason, I just don't. Wonder what prompted it. Although, I am a huge fan of our own Top Banana in the Rain. The quote from the new Banana resonates. I'll have to find out more about B. Yoshimoto.
