Who Remembers, Your First Camera?

Who remembers your first camera?  Who remembers getting your first camera:  I got my first camera in the early seventies and I have taken photos with it from all over the world.  This is my first camera and then I upgraded to other sophisticated cameras.  Cameras have come a long way and I love still pictures more than I like moving pictures but I do both.  I have a YouTube Channel with over 350 videos but I do not like doing videos as much as I do still photos.  Still, photos capture the moment in time and freeze the moment for me.  I will be introducing all of my worldwide photos to Active Rain with stories that will go along with photos.  Let me also tell you that I also had a Polaroid camera with instant photos but they never were like the real photos to me.  They were kind of blurry.

I used the camera in high school and used it in Indonesia and used this camera as one of my first cameras for Photography 1 and Photography 2 and then I took advanced Photography when I went to school in Indonesia at the Joint Embassy High School, which was in Jakarta Indonesia.

So photography too me is the ultimate and I love taking photos of jobs that I am on for Inspections as well as solving peoples problems so you will get to see quite a bit of what I do out there but I will also be offering variety into my articles to mix things up and to not be so boring with Inspections or Remediation work all the time.

If you want me to write about a particular subject, just make the request below and I will gladly write about it. I will also be writing about other people whose service that I believe in and that I trust.  Now, why would I be writing about others, would you think?  Let me tell you why I want to write about others. I write about others whose service is five-star and who go out of their way to help me and to make my life easier and whose service is all-star 5-star service.  You will see me start writing about the service of others this week and my experience with them.  Get ready for it and look for it.

My name is David Snell and I love to write.  I am a social butterfly and you will see quite a bit of me on various platforms.  My favorite platform has become Active Rain and I have been on here for some 10 years but not as active as I am now.  I see the value of Active Rain and I want to inform and educate others and help others understand many things in my industry and even things like my experiences and photos galore.  Smiles.

If you want to get to know me more, I do not bite, feel welcome to pick up the phone or text me or email me. I promise to very kind to you on the phone.  I like getting to know the hearts of others and I believe it is all about relationships and not the sale.  I do not sell and I will not sell but I will help others understand what their building or home needs and give him or her options.

Hello David - well, my first camera was a hand-me-down from my Grandmother in the 1960s when I was approximately seven or eight years old.  A Kodak Brownie - I can't even guess the vintage and I am trying to remember if there was a manual included with it at the time.  \

\Although, I did later receive a Kodak Instamatic while still a child and a series of other cameras over the years, I quickly learned that photography skills were not a part of my skill set.  Although, I know my cell phone has a camera, I usually don't use it.

Hi David- I think I too had a Kodak Brownie that my father gave me. He was an amateur photographer who developed his own film

You made me think back.  My first was a Polaroid as well.  I can still remember a shot of my Dad when he took us to the Long Beach amusment park.  What a flash back.  Started my enjoyment for pics.  Thanks for the post.  Mark  (no punn intended with flash-lol)
