When was the last time, you cleaned out your gutters or had someone, clean them out for you?
What do you think would happen, if you did not clean out your gutters? Your gutters would fill up with leaves and debris and your gutters would flow over with water and affect the foundation of your house and could create issues to the foundation slab the house is built on. For crawl spaces, water could overflow and you could create water intrusions into your crawl space. I would suggest you clean your gutters out at least yearly but I know some who clean their gutters out twice a year. The other option is to put some sort of guard on the gutters to help prevent leaves and debris from entering the gutters and could also create a blockage in your gutters and downspouts. Keep them clean is my suggestion to you.
Another thing that the blocked gutters could create would be moisture intrusions into the side of the house and water could enter the building with wind or rain or blocked gutters and therefore create water damage to your home. Is it worth it? Is it worth it to not maintain your gutters? Gutters can fill up with pine needles, leaves, gravel from roofs and so many others things.
My name is David Snell and if you have water damage to your home or water intrusions to your home and you need help deciding what is going on and where the water source is coming from, this could be one way your home or building is being affected with water damage and water damage can create mold issues if not taken care of. First, you need to find the source of the problem and then you need to correct the issue. Do not put a band-aid on the issue. Address the concern and correct the problem or else you could have costly repairs to your home or building you are in. Even if you live in an apartment, notify your property manager if you see gutters that are backed up or plugged up because this could create water damage for you in your apartment or townhome, or condo.
Feel welcome to call David Snell to get to know him on the phone. David will talk or discuss your issue on the phone and if he feels like you need an inspection, he will set up a time to come out to your building or home.
One of David's sayings that he has adopted is this.
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered, long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. In other words, you get what you pay for or what you do not pay for.
