Many years ago in 1776, 56 men agreed on a document titled;
"DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE".
The average age of these men was 44 yrs. Twelve (12) of them were 35 years of age or younger. When they signed they knew they had just signed their own death warrant
Because of these courageous men a country was formed. Because there are men and women of all generations that have worked & given their lives to keep our nation free we are still able to partake in freedom and the celebration of it. Although there are those who, throughout our history, have advocated against the American experiment we will continue to stand firm in our resolution to combat those who would do us harm (internal & external).
We are not perfect. Yet, we are improving. We cannot judge life in those days by life in these days. We are have been evolving as a nation and a people.
We are ALL Americans and we are identified by our founding documents and our National Flag. We are bound by these documents and the sacrifices of other noble men and women. We have a responsibility to them and to our progeny. We ARE NOT hyphenated Americans, as many would have us believe! We are indivisible. We are Americans. It's time to remember who we are! One people, One nation, under God, while acknowledging liberty and justice for All!
