Another Memorable Independence Holiday Raymond Gary Lake July 4 2021
I do believe this was the BEST Independence Holiday at Raymond Gary Lake! We were able to spend most of the week at the Lake... admittedly some of those days were spent showing lake lots to prospective buyers instead of with family... but Don and I enjoyed that part of it too! We love meeting folks that appreciate our little lake at Fort Towson, Oklahoma and want to own a piece of its shoreline.
BUT business aside, we've enjoyed our family this week. GOD has blessed us with a loving family and some of them were able to come enjoy the holiday with us. We are in the Grand and Great Grand stage of life and let me tell you, IT'S THE BEST STAGE! Those facts combined are what made it another memorable Independence Holiday at Raymond Gary Lake July 4 2021!
Swimming, Kayaking, Paddle Boating, Pontoon Boating, Fishing, Corn Hole Tossing, Horseshoes, Cricket, Cards, Dominoes, Movies, Games.... and of course... fireworks and the nature creatures that we share this world with! No one was bored especially with the 4 year old keeping everyone on their toes! And did I leave out... lots of good food!
I do believe I gained another 5 lbs and at this stage in life, it's so much harder to get those extra pounds off than it is to put them on!
You're going to see plenty of posts today with photos of fireworks so I'll keep the fireworks photos to myself and not share, besides you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those photos and the ones from previous years... it seems all of my fireworks photos look alike! AND I really didn't want to upload our family photos to this platform so let me share the the quiet photos... because not all activities were noisy... some of them happened in the quiet of the morning... herons on the 
shore, bunnies in the back yard, birds welcoming in the new day, squirrels playing chase, and some quiet time with a cup of coffee and morning Bible Study.
AND Not all of the beautiful pops of color around the lake on the 4th of July are fireworks... some of them are small brightly colored wildflowers...
Whatever your favorite vacation type of activity can be usually be found on Raymond Gary Lake or within a short driving distance.
