“Yes, You Can Build Your Home”
After weeks of figuring out next steps for us, we have decided to build and stop searching for home that either don’t work for our needs or folks are bidding crazy money over the asking price.
As I shared previously, we own a parcel of land and will build there. I am going to start putting the sub-contractors together and will GC the job myself. I still can’t get over that you have a construction lender that will allow me to build my own home, which is just what I need. Once I have my budget together, will let you know.

These clients will save about 20% of the construction costs, by being their own general contractor. That is a lot of dollars when the plan is the build a 2,500 square foot home.
They are fortunate to have family that are in the construction trades, so they will be able to avoid some costly mistakes.
