July 18 is National Ice Cream Day so for this month's Active Rain Challenge, I want to share this ice cream recipe that will make your dessert even more savory.
In addition to helping home services, real estate, insurance, home inspection and other companies with the websites, video production and getting found on Google, I also am an owner of Grumpy Goat Coffee Company.
We make freshly roasted, single-origin and gourmet grade coffee both exciting and approachable for everyone.
We carry coffee origins grown at high altitudes around the world including Africa, Indonesia, Central & South America.
Fully traceable means that we know where the beans are coming from.
We know when they are harvested, when they’re sent to the washing station, when they’re set afloat.
We know if they have certifications like USDA certified organic fair trade. In terms of single origin, it’s a lot like wine.
We know the regions, we know the altitudes, we know the varietals that make up the coffee we bring in.
Grumpy Goat has done several collaborations to make recipes with ice cream producers, microbreweries and chefs. We have great recipes for preparing meats with coffee dry rubs too.
For example, we created Grumpy Coffee Chip ice cream with Tipsy Cow Ice Cream in Bonita Springs, Fla. Tipsy Cow is located in the Prado Shopping Center next to the movie theatre.
One of our favorite coffee treats is Affogato.
Try Affogato for yourself! It's easy.
