Ruskin Place is the spot to go for the European-inspired Farm and Flea market on Saturdays from 9am – noon. On the first Friday of the month, you can head over for the First Friday Art Walk from 4 – 7pm. And you won’t want to miss the Ruskin Art Area where you can meet the artisans firsthand as you admire the art galleries, photography studios, clothing boutiques, and eclectic shops. Austin Magee’s Surf School
Head to the Surf School Tent, or call their office, to sign up for your lesson. Lessons are offered to those who are comfortable in the water from age 5 and up. You can choose from private lessons, group sessions, or mini-lessons. The patient, encouraging instructors will have you comfortable on a board in no time. You’ll need to wear a bathing suit; however, wet suits are provided when the water is cold.
