On average the homes sold in five days. Sellers received 102.9% of asking price in final sale price. At quarter end, no homes were listed for sale or under contract.
One home that sold at $927,000 ($28,000 over asking price) in the second quarter set a new sales price record for Bridgehampton.
On the Indian Land, South Carolina side of Bridgehampton, six homes sold during the second quarter 2021 at an average sale price of $661,083 and a median sale price of $677,250. Average sale price was about $113,000 higher than during Quarter 1, 2021. On average, sellers received 104.8% of list price in final sales price -- about 7.1% higher than in the first quarter 2021.

Bridgehampton is a 544 home neighborhood built by John Wieland Homes, located on the border of North and South Carolinas in the Ballantyne area. Approximately half of the community's homes are in Charlotte on the North Carolina side, while the other half are in Indian Land on the South Carolina side. The primary "visible" difference in homes is that the North Carolina homes were built as an all-brick/stone community, while on the South Carolina side, homes were primarily brick front with hardiplank siding, although there were some homes that had three sides brick. Majority of the homes were built between 1999 and 2006.

The majority of homes built in BridgeHampton are 2-story, but you'll also find 3-story homes, as well as homes with walkout basements. Homes offer four to six bedrooms and typically a minimum of three bathrooms. Square footage ranges from 3,200 to more than 5,000 square feet. Bridgehampton homes typically sit on .3 to .4 acre lots, considered generously sized lots in the Ballantyne area these days.
Within the Bridgehampton neighborhood is a separate, gated neighborhood of luxury townhomes -- The Gates of Bridgehampton. The Gates at Bridgehampton have their own homeowner association. The townhomes are 2-story homes, typically with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, ranging in size from approximately 2,500 square feet to almost 4,000 square feet. The homes feature private courtyards for outdoor space. No townhomes in The Gates in Bridgehampton were listed for sale or sold in the 1st quarter of 2021.
