Boy this is hard one for someone like me to come up with but I will TRY!
I like to think that most but not all people like steaks. I start with this receipe that I share before here in the rain.
doing for tonight
-8 to 12 oz New York Strip Steaks
1/2 bottle liquid smoke (2 Oz)
1/2 bottle A 1 steak sauce (8 Oz)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Whorcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup red wine
1/4cup balsamic vinegar
1 tsp.garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
In a large container with a lid, combine all marinade ingredients until well incorporated. Coat the steaks, and allow to marinate for at least 2 hours, I prefer overnight, but that is me. Remove steaks from the marinade and cook on a hot grill, approximately 4 to 6 minutes per side. or until desired doneness is achieved.
You have to love the smell of steaks on the grill. I have a glass of wine to time how long to cook them on each side. Make sure you get the orders from your friends for rare (like almost making a cow sound) medium rare, medium, medium well, or burn it.
Of course always good to have bake potatoes with butter and sour cream and chives at least and some side items and start with a salad and devil eggs.
Of course the more people the better and than to do a dessert is always good also. Being so hope out it could be a apple pie with ice cream or a peach cobbler with ice cream or a peanut butter pie that is frozen and thraw out for 30 minutes. Always good to cook for friends and enjoy food!
