Let me tell you what will happen

So today, I went to the doctor. As I was led to the exam room, the nurse told me exactly what would happen. I was told the physicians assistant would come in and speak with me. I was told she would then leave. After that I was told that she would return with the physician and they would both speak with me.

 

So, what happened? Well, first the physician’s assistant came in and did a brief exam and spoke with me. Now, she is the 3rd physician’s assistant I have seen in that office in the last 4 years. She was calm, friendly, clear and knew exactly what to say with as few words as was needed to convey her question clearly. She spoke intelligently and took the time to answer every question I had.  In the exam, I had never been examined that completely before. She then asked me if she had forgotten anything. I told her that she had been the most helpful and thorough of anyone I had ever seen in that office.

 

Then she left. In 2 minutes, she came back in with the physician. When he asked how I was doing, all I could do is gush about his assistant and how great of a job she did.

 

They told me what would happen. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were thorough, friendly and efficient. They kept my questions at the highest importance. They made me feel valued.

 

I wish we had more real estate offices that ran like that. Have someone greet the client, tell them exactly what will happen as they lead them to a conference room. Have an assistant begin with preliminary questions that allow the client to feel important and to feel that their needs are being taken care of. Finally, have the agent in charge come in and complete whatever paperwork and presentation may be necessary.

 

Great customer service. When we get it, we know it. It makes us want more of it. How I would love to see this type of service in a real estate office. How I would love to see that all offices ran this way.

 

All it takes is 1 office to start with.

Hi Rocky Dickerson - It is interesting to see the different levels of service.  I always strive for the highest level of service and when others do not, I am usually disappointed and will not go back.

Rocky we could avoid a lot of issues by just taking a little time to explain the process, and what to expect.  It does not take long to do that, and it makes a world of difference.

Hi Rocky excellent service stands WAY OUT to us, doesn't it.  We've run across some fantastic people lately and one of us always lets them  know how much we appreciate their excellent service.  This is exactly what our clients expect (and receive) from us!  I thought about this the other day....somehow some folks just don't get the value of going above and beyond the call of duty this past several years or so.  Perhaps nobody is teaching it?  I don't think it's out of style!!  At least no in my world.
