Summer Colors In The Yard
It's summer and with the warmer temperatures come the flowers as well. We are so fortunate that the people that built our home were very appreciative of flowers and flowering shrubs and planted them all over the yard.
Along the road, and hiding a very large rock formation are a row of hedges that bloom with large white flowers. They offer a wall of color as we get to our driveway.

Good morning, Ed... there's nothing I love more than flowering bushes and tress around me... right now I'm enjoying my crepe myrtle which is awash in hot pink flowers, my magnolia tree, and my hydrangea bushes full of blue and white flowers.

I think that's a hedge of azaelias. It's wonderful to see them blooming this time of year. Those in my yard begin blossoming in March and last through May. Then they are through for the year.

Ed Silva - Summer in Connecticut is just lovely! Since I've never visited the State of Connecticut it was a special treat for me to see such vibrant colors and healthy green plants and trees!
