Wordless Wednesday: Helicopter in Bloom

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

I have mentioned in previous posts, that summer is when the succulents bloom.  One of our newest purchases was this helicopter specimen.

The blooms are dividing into what looks like broccoli stalks, and are continuing to do so, much to our delight and suprise.  This the strangest one of the bunch.

Wishing Everyone a Delightful Wednesday,

Evening.

Hi Alexandra... that is certainly an interesting "specimen" as you called it. Have not seen something like it until just now.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - while I was unfamiliar with its name, the actual plant looks somewhat familiar.   Spot one in a garden unassisted?  Not likely but the joy in finding landscape discoveries remains abundant.

That is a very unusual plant.  I have grown broccoli and it looks very similar except for the leaves

I too thought broccolini at first. Very fun - succulent blooms are often such a surprise.
