Looks like rain in Denver today!

By

Good news for Denver, Colorado area with rain starting by 2 pm and rain till tomorrow morning.  I know the lawns can use it but not sure about the farms east of Denver that are harvesting their wheat crop right about now.

I wish we would have more rain in the mountains but in some area that would create more mud slides and close down roads.  I- 70 around Glenwood springs was shut down again and truckers had to go 4 hours out of there way to make it around to get to the west side to Grand Junction.

Fires from last year created lots of mud slides this year.  We need to plant trees back in that area and fast.

Hello Will:  without weather or real estate,  I wonder what might fill those awkward moments when there is a lull in the conversation.

Hello Michael Jacobs, one car got in the mud slide on I-70 and had no phone signal and was in it for 4 hours.

I saw on the news today that a mudslide in Colorado trapped people for hours on the road.  It looked like they were making progress getting everyone out.  It would be great if we could get enough rain to celebrate, but not so much we have problems.  I hope you get that perfect amount today.

Hello Raymond,  we do not need the rain in the mud slide area.  We need to have the rain where the fires are at.

From what I hear, if the Western Colorado mountains could have massive snow years for a few years in a row, it would have a huge impact on helping the Western states out of their drought.

A long anticipated rain is good for everything as long as it is not in the form of severe storms.

I'm envious of your Denver rain, Will.  I wish we could borrow some of it here in Sacramento.
