Even before 2020, technology was already well on its way to disrupting the real estate industry.  Many new marketing tools and prop tech apps have been introduced to the market in the past few years that have transformed how agents, landlords, buyers, and sellers interact.   Now with a pandemic on our hands, everyone is looking for ways to lean on tech to make the real estate process safer without adding too much risk to the parties involved.

These apps can help you reduce contact with buyers, sellers, and renters.

This article is going to list 5 of the newest apps that are out right now. We're going to cover several kinds with various intended functions. These apps are intended to efficiently help you manage processes associated with planning, as well as day to day activities in real estate.

Without further delay, let's get right into it!

1 - Grasshopper:

Multiple phone lines with their own virtualized phone numbers. You also get Wi-Fi enabled calling and virtual faxing.  Grasshopper is for agents who love to have dedicated lines for various purposes, such as a business and personal line separately.

The best part of Grasshopper is that you don't have to pay multiple phone bills with it. You get everything in one seamless solution.  Being that the app uses VOIP, you can integrate it with Skype, Google Voice, and even landlines.  With the proper setup, you can get your brick and mortar office calls from anywhere in the world!

2 - Buffer

Do you manage multiple social media accounts to syndicate your content and listings?  If you're someone who can't be bothered with more than one login, then Buffer is the tool for you. It's an all in one social media manager.

You can control your Linkedin, Facebook Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram from one easy-to-use dashboard.  With Buffer, you can schedule posts in advance, as well as check your performance via robust analytics and diagnostics tools.  Buffer makes it possible to run an entire global campaign from your own home.

3 - CamScanner

This is something we don't often consider, but when was the last time you had to scan a document outside of the office?  CamScanner is a convenient little app that allows you to take a picture of documents with your mobile phone.

You then have the ability to fax the photo to a phone number of your choice. Never worry about missing a close again!  You can also create .pdfs and .jpgs of documents with scanner level quality. The app helps your camera recreate the look and feel of a fax.  Another application for the software is the digitization of docs. Go paperless and store your written docs on your phone easily.

4 - Dropbox

Dropbox is not a new-fangled software. Many are likely already utilizing it. If not dropbox, then its cousin, Google Drive.  However, for those of you that aren't, get it. It's essential for storing large amounts of data in the cloud.

Our phones can only hold so much data. Being able to upload files to the cloud is essential for the lifestyle 2021 demands.  Items like photos, docs, videos, or anything else you can think of can be offloaded to Dropbox and stored into the cloud for later.

5 - Adobe Premiere Rush

We couldn't finish off a list of the best apps for real estate agents in 2021 without including an Adobe product somewhere on it.  Being that more and more people will be looking for videos to view apartments and homes, you're going to have to get creative with those showcasing these videos.

Using Adobe Premiere Rush, this isn't a big deal. You can do all of the things that you can on most Adobe software. The upside and unique benefit of this software is that it's pre-loaded with an insane number of templates.  Per the inclusion of the word "Rush" in the branding, this is software for people who need a quick edit of a photo or video.  It's quite similar to Canva, except with a lot more features and power behind it.

It will take some adaptation to survive in this brave new world of sales, but if you have the right tools, it's a whole lot easier.  These are just some best apps for Real Estate agents in 2021... but what are some of your favorites? Leave a comment below!
