Development of Trilogy at La Quinta by Shea Homes started in 2003 and concluded in 2011. The diversity of housing options and exterior facades gives the 1,238-home community a semi-custom appearance. Homes in Trilogy range in size from 1,390 to 2724 sq. ft. and feature a variety of different floor plans, with prices starting in the mid-$300s to just under $800K. Many of the homes come with casitas, golf course views, and private yards. At least one family member must be 55-plus to live in the community. Investors under the age of 55-plus are welcome to purchase but must rent out the property.
