Good morning, Sharon... love the photo. And the message is spot on... memories don't need to fade unlike a suntan.

Was he planning to moon you?  One of my Mom's favorite stories is that one of the grandkids was using her bathroom while she was in bed and he left the door open.  He looked back at her and said Grandma, you see my butt.  She laughed.

Hello Sharon - ah, yes the memories can last so much longer than any promise of "that endless tan".

Nina Hollander, Broker  So many great memories are made at the beach...hoping you have the chance to make a great memory or two today!

Lise Howe  My life's mission...making great memories for the grands!

Brian England  HaHa. No, he was just playing. I do get the "butt" thing though. Boys are all about tossing out that word whenever they can.

Kat Palmiotti  Something about a beach vacation...the sun, the smell, the sand and water...those memories can be so special.

Michael Jacobs  Now that I see the price paid to my skin for all that sun tanning...how I wish I could go back and unring that bell!

Grant Schneider  I hope so too. They don't have too many days of summer left. School is right around the corner.

Good morning Sharon. When rinsing off my grandson it seems like the sand may give memories some competition. Or that the way it seems. Enjoy your day.

Sharon,

Lovely photo and a lovely quote.  We keep making memories at the beach on a regular basis, and the tans are irrelevant for us.  A

Your post made me recall the 18 years we lived on the oceanfront at Virginia Beach. I do miss those daily walks.

The only sand I can find to play in today would be on a golf course and I try to avoid them as much as possible.

Thank you re: picture. My hair has already changed a bit again, but too soon to post another new pic. I will update again at some point though.

What would my Wednesday be without a visit to your blog. If I tried to assume that pose I would look like a ostrich with my head deeply buried in the sand Sharon Tara
