Enjoying Island Life Hook Line and Sinker

This is my better half James Andrew.  He has been working non stop for the past 7 years I would say. 

He is finally taking some time and enjoying all the things our little island has to offer - and it is also for my benefit. 

He loves to fish, and he is on a mission when he does go.  Here is one trip he took recently down to the Padre Island National Seashore. 

Here is a picture of his catch!  All I can say is, it was good and tasty!

I just wanted to share a post about him and the beauty of our area. 

If you are ever in Corpus Christi Texas, don't miss going to the Padre Island National Seashore.  There is driving for miles & miles and it is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

Good morning Ed Silva - it did make a few meals.  I wasn't sure if we were keeping it, and I hate to say but I felt sorry for the fish.  It is a redfish and one of my favorites, so I was glad he kept it!  Enjoy your day!

We buy fresh fish at the harbor quite often.  And it is mind boggling when I think of how far the Pacific stretches.  ?A

Fresh fish is the Best!!  We do that too, it is much faster than going and catching yourself!  It was fun!

Hi Kathy - You should take some time and come down.  We are having some cooler weather right now but most days are sunny and beautiful!  The Island has changed so much in the past 20 years.  People are starting to discover it!  It was a fun day and very relaxing! Have a great day!

Good morning Michael. I comepletely understand.  I grew up going to the beach in Galveston but moved to Corpus Christi 20 years ago.  I had no idea there was a beach here and I love it!  It was a lot of fun watching him catch this one!  Thanks for stopping by!

Brenda J. Andrew - I love the beach too. The first time I experienced the ocean was with my kids in 1987. I felt the peace, the calmness of the seashore, and feeling as if time wasn't rushed. My mind was open to all its beauty and wonder and the warm sand beneath my feet was welcoming. Thank you for that gift from Joyce Meyer. I enjoyed it very much! She is absolutely right, you have to have balance and change the pace of your life. If you don't, you'll miss out on true peace and tranquility. I did love it and will continue to watch more of her videos! Thank you, so much. I enjoy our friendship. I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers for more great memories and adventures with your husband to get you to your happy places that you both so richly deserve.
