It's very disappointing when you see yet another for sale sign go up in your neighborhood and yes, it's another foreclosure. I was somewhat used to it, during our short stay in Cleveland, but didn't expect to see it as much here in Houston.
Since arriving in December, in my neighborhood alone, three foreclosures have gone active and sold and there are now three more on the market. Our neighborhood, Ashton Village only has around 280 homes. This is a very alarming statisitic. Feeling the urge to do something about it, I spoke with our HOA president and want to make it very clear. As a homeowner, you do have options, prior to foreclosure. In Cleveland, we were exposed to a much greater influx of foreclosures and with that came lots of training for us as agents.
