Unexpected Summer Colors Revisited

Last week I posted about the over-sized Hibiscus flowers that I saw while driving to an appointment.  Then we got hit with all the rain from Tropical storm Henri and the fear that it would cause damage to the flowers.

Well Henri didn't hurt the flower and there were actually more blossoms on the flower today as I went by purposely to see it again.

I was also happy to find it's cousin about a mile away only a different color and just as large.

While cousin Red didn't have as many blossoms, it had a lot of pods ready to soon burst.

Hello Ed - nature is both magical and mysterious.  As for weather, it definitely keeps up many conversations, right?

Hi Ed... obviously a very hardy flower that stood up to everything Henri had to throw at it!

Ed,

That was really nice of Henry.  And the red cousin is a gorgeous color.  We have hibiscus blooming like crazy here and in town.  I have yet to see one as big as the ones you shared.  A
