Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is paying up to $3,000 to employees who get vaccinated for Covid-19.

The Cleveland-based steelmaker worked with the United Steelworkers and other labor unions to develop the vaccine incentive program, which started in July.

Cleveland-Cliffs is paying $1,500 to employees who get the vaccine and an additional $1,500 if their work location reaches a vaccination rate of 75%.
