Branding Moment: Three Choices, Which One Would You Choose?

By

Many events happen in Santa Barbara County.  Recently as we are driving on errands and appointements, we have been noticing different vendors on the freeways.  Pictured above is the first one, Town & Country we noticed.

The next one pictured above is Theoni.  They serve Napa, Beverly Hills & "Beyond".

The third one is a local brand called Bright Event Rental.  their trucks come in various rainbow colors.  The event rental part in bright yellow on the door, and this is the best angle of the photo I could get while Ron was driving.  The link goes to the company video.

All three are candidates for a big event rental.  On first impression, which one would you choose?  I have included their websites, if you care to delve further.

I will share my impressions, after I read yours and the reasons behind them, in my next post.

Alexandra, from the clean neat and flashy look I was leaning to #3 if they keep their trucks in such tip top shape I would hope they would do the same with their supplies... as to #2 I had to lean more towards that when I looked at their website.... and #1 the name has been around a lot.... with all that said I would need to check out reviews before I would comit.... long and short #3 was my first choice...Endre

Morning Alexandra.

While the first one cuahgt my attention, the last one was the standout.  Not for what they do but the truck was clean.  If they keep their truck that clean then I have no doubt the services they provide will do the same

Purely from first glance impression, Town and Country looks 1980's design, Theoni is very hard to read and stylish but drab color and weak thin font. Bright makes it one word simple and to wonder what's that due to not afraid of using color... bold statement with paint.

Hello Ron and Alexandra!

Theoni got my attention! But they are missing the phone number on the truck. I like their website! Thank you for sharing!!!

Hi Ron and Alexandra- I was late in coming to this so I decided to comment first and read the other comments later.  For me, it might depend on what kind of event I was having. Theoni sticks out for me because I love the classic simplicity of it. But if I were planning something very casual and "fun", I might look into the others.

I would call Bright for a less expensive party.

Town and Country for something very large.

Theoni for an elegant event.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel Just from the truck logos and color schemes - Theoni would be too expensive, but if it were for a wedding, maybe.  Bright is TOO bright for me.  Town & Country seems middle, somewhat upscale, and reasonable.

I would go with the third choice.  Their truck is clean.  Name is easy to read.   And their truck is clean.  The second one chose a fancier font and logo, and frankly, it's hard to read.  The first looks too dirty and busy.

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel - This is an interesting challenge.  I can't wait to see your input.   I made my decision based only on the trucks and the websites.  I personally liked the tagline "Lifestyle Event Rentals".  After visiting the websites,  I thought that Theoni resonated best with me. The table settings were exquisite.  After all,  we will spend much of our time sitting at the table enjoying a great meal and dining in an elegant setting such as those shown on Theoni were right up my alley.  Something that people don't always think about is the chair you are sitting in. You actually shouldn't have to think about it, but if you are worried that it will collapse when you sit in it that is a problem.  Sooo... It should be special.  It should be sturdy.

The second one would get my attention because it is classy and suggests they would offer very classy services.

Endre Barath, Jr. that would have my choice after hearing from friends.  Their prices are all similar, and at an event, SERVICE is key.  A

Dr. Paula McDonald For one thing they are similarly priced, and everyone has access to the same china, napkins, etc...it is a commodity.  I have been to many events and what mattered most to the host is service!  A
