Wordless Wednesday - Can You Help Me Out?

Wordless Wednesday - Can you let me out?

It's amazing how animals get along with each other.  They even communicate well with each other.  Here we have a goat on the farm, Leroy, who was left inthe stall because he was getting into too much mischief.  (In case you haven't been around goats, you may be unaware that they get into a lot of things they shouldn't and get into trouble.)  Here, it looks like Leroy is being very nice to the pony and begging him to open the door to freedom.   Do you think Leroy will get his way?  It doesn't look like the pony is willing to help Leroy out.

Hi Brigita,  Thank you for sharing this great picture.  I'm betting Leroy will eventually talk the pony into showing him how to unlatch the gate.

Hi Brigita- that is so precious!!  I've never been around goats but I'd heard they were mischievous.

Too cute, Brigita.  A couple months ago, I woke in the middle of the night to let one of my cats out.  But, when I turned on the back porch light I saw my other cat checking out a trio of young raccoons.  I wasn't able to grab my camera fast enough.  It would have made great video.

Hello Brigita - is it the spirit of cooperation that is showing in this captured photo or something else?  Determination?  It's definitely fascinating to see(and watch as well as wonder).

Brigita,

We had a goat in the desert.  She ate my father's socks, and as little three year old I thought it was funny...my mother did not see it that way.  A

Hi, Michael!

I wouldn't be surprised if this pony co-operated with the goat.  Ponies can be just as bad sometimes.

Hi, Ron & Alexandra!

There have been times that the goat has done something that irritated me, but in hindsite, I would have a good laugh.

Brigita McKelvie, Associate Broker - I loved your blog post and photos too! Clearly, I understand why goats are often referred to as kids! Animal behavior is fun to observe and so forgiving too. It must be wonderful to be raised around horses or on a farm. There's a lot of work, but a lot of love too!

Hi, Patricia!

I love working with the animals.  They give us humor, and are forgiving, as you said, as well as honest.  I had my farm as an adult and was fortunate to raise my children on the farm.  They learned so many good life lessons.  And, I do not consider it "work" on a farm.  It is my gym to stay fit and it can be fun.

Glad you enjoyed the post!
