San Francisco Bay area real estate housing stats

While the competions for residential homes are hot, multiple offers is always the norm. The numbers below suggest, housing is just a bit softer than summer. 

I suspect out-of-town internet commuting has something to do with homes near high tech firms. Rent is quite affordable with relatively higher vacancy. In SF City some flats are becoming affordadable again.
