TARRYTOWN MANSION ESTATES ON THE HUDSON

I had to leave the Zoom meeting early today--sorry Jan Green .  But I was on call for the Business Council of Westchester new members event which preceded open networking.

I left the Zoom chat and took my business cards for a live in person networking event at the Tarrytown House Mansion.  This mansion overlooks the Hudson River Valley.  Sunnyside, the home of Washington Irving is nearby.  Washington Irving wrote the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and the Tale of the Headless Horseman.

Everyone was having a great time tonight and much preferring business cards to posting in chat.  Marsha Gordon, CEO of The Business Council of Westchester welcomes everyone and thanks sponsors.

In-person is definitely better than on zoom.  Virtual meetings certainly have their place but nothing beats meeting in person.

In -person definitely trumps zoom! I don't think I was ever at the Tarrytown Mansion Estates but did always enjoy time near the Hudson. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Kat -  you would probably enjoy all of the new venues on the Hudson since you left.

Michael - people actually thought it was light but I didn't see that.

Good luck at the networking events. I have attended a countless number of them. 

When we lived in Virginia Beach, I chaired the Executive Connection committee at the Chamber of Commerce. These were sponsored networking events for CEOs in the area.

Hi Grant- I too had to leave early. My niece, her husband and their 4 year old were over because the power was knocked out at their house from the storm. I popped in but then was called to play "aunt" when both parents had to go into Zoom calls.

George - yes and also need to be there because of my two roles at the Business Council.

Kathy - that is bound to happen when you have 2pm every week.  However, I have set aside my presentation date.
