Throwback Thursdays...Beach Art

One of the things I loved about the beach in Delray was that every day was a new day...who and what we saw. Mom Nature was generous with us.

Hurricane Irma hit on September 10, 2017, and left us without power for 3 days. We were lucky, though, because we were in our friend’s home that had impact glass and a house generator. She left downed lines and debris everywhere.

Mother Nature, however, balanced the destruction that Hurricane Irma brought to our area with these works of art...

Kathy,

I remember the beach after the mud slides and the flash floods.  There was o much debris and felled trees, but it was beautiful!  People made art with the driftwood.  A

Hi Kathy - I am sure there are things that you miss about the beach.  There is something about being near the ocean.  Same with seeing Ron and Alexandra Seigel 's coastline pictures.

Kathy I remember your stories about staying with your friends during that storm.  I know how much you loved walking the beach and finding 'art' in many things.  That's a gift!

Myrl Jeffcoat what a wonderful place to see sea life. I could have spent hours walking along the shoreline looking at all of the shells.

Thank you Michael Jacobs I still have many sea shells I collected from my walks along the beach. I left a few for everyone else!!!

Ron and Alexandra Seigel I especially love seeing driftwood on the beach. Delray didn't have as much as other areas.

Grant Schneider we got to live there for over 30 years so I am very grateful for that.

Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty remember at one point it was supposed to be a Category 5 with top wind speeds. It was bad but not as bad as it could have been.

Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, CRB, Phoenix Broker What a memory!!!  Besides my friends in Delray I miss the beach the most.
