Shady Grove & Rockville Metro Stations Now Closed

Shady Grove & Rockville Metro Stations Now Closed

Shady Grove and Rockville Metro stations are closed, without rail service, through December 4 for the Rockville Canopy Replacement Project. Construction crews will be working around the clock to demolish and replace the platform canopy at Rockville Station and install other improvements, including new, more efficient LED lights, an upgraded speaker system for announcements, new digital information screens, and new CCTV security cameras. Free shuttle bus service will be available between Shady Grove, Rockville and Twinbrook stations.
