Located between Carrollton and Mount Zion is John Tanner State Park. The 138 acre park features two lakes, one of the largest beaches for swimming in any Georgia State park, lots of picnic areas, pavilions, and a large campground.
Visitors may also enjoy boating and fishing opportunities, plus fun for the kids including miniature golf and play ground areas.
