ActiveRain and All Things Real Estate...Zoom...Zoom!
This month's ActiveRain Challenge gets straight to the point of zoom meetings. While I have participated in quite a few, some life events have taken priority plus the focus is also on maintaining a real estate business.
Have been witness to so many professionals who have given expert presentations. I would love to see a legal team do a panel on national law with all things that affect us as real estate industry professionals.
For example, proper buyer and seller representation for newbies, marketing and advertising, disclosing facts that may adversely affect the integrity of a property to prevent repercussion plus the pitfalls of limited agency.
Many new agents are disparagingly disrespectful to other industry professionals. And yes, some seasoned agents still strong arm or lack good communication. The spirit of cooperation is sorely lacking in this market.
I asked an ActiveRain attorney member to participate and he respectfully declined.
Also, would like to know how funds are allocated prior to a decision made by the National Association of Realtors. It appears all is said and done by the time we read about it in a printed publication or online.
Perhaps a NAR board member would consider enlightening us on their processes.
The zoom meetings brought us all together in real time when it was impossible to travel to see each other in person. However, I was able to visit with Anna Banana, Jan Green, Carol Williams and Nancy Laswick over drinks and a wonderful meal during a trip to Arizona in July. Our newborn Gbaby boy, Kodah was life-flighted the first time to Banner Hospital.
ActiveRain is still the best platform for industry professionals and I so appreciate all the work being done to improve the site and keep us sharing by blogging and commenting. Looking forward to joining everyone again soon.
